Studio13 offers a blended curriculum consisting of martial arts, yoga, self defense, fitness training along with meditation, breathing awareness, and community projects and awareness. Students learn about anti-bullying campaigns/awareness, nutrition, fitness, body awareness. Students participate in school and community projects and will have requirements to meet outside their in Studio training/classes.
The current trends in fitness and nutrition, along with the particular challenges facing youth “at risk,” make martial arts, yoga classes and curricula on nutrition and physical fitness a great choice for students and parents.
Our mixed martial arts classes include stretching/warm-ups, strength & conditioning, martial arts/self defense, cool-down & class review activities. Students also receive a project list for each month focusing on kindness, community leadership, and awareness. Special seminars are held throughout the year on self-defense, anti-bullying and more.
